The HydroMine Project presented to a broad international audience at the 12th International Freiberg Conference on Circular Carbon Technologies on 23–26 September 2024 in Shanghai, China.
The 12 th International Freiberg Conference on Circular Carbon Technologies was organized by the Institute of Energy Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering (IEC) at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany) with its co-organizers the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST, China), Synfuels China Technology Co., Ltd (China) and the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICC CAS, China). It focused on the opportunities and challenges as well as innovations and developments in circular carbon technologies to pave the way towards a resource efficient, circular and climate neutral economy via the recirculation of carbon-containing waste as secondary raw materials for production.
During the conference Krzysztof Kapusta from GIG-PIB hosted a presentation entitled: Hydrogen production from Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) in a novel borehole gasification process combined with advanced gas separation – Project HydroMine.
