HydroMine Project

The HydroMine Project was present at the EGU General Assembly 2026, held in Vienna, Austria, from 3–8 May 2026.

The project was showcased with two contributions from partners:

  • Techno-economic assessment of hydrogen production from refuse-derived fuel using legacy mining infrastructure
    P. Ernst, T. Kempka, K. Kapusta, P. Lejwoda, G. Barbieri, A. Brunetti, Ł. Tekeli, B. Gogol, F. Maseri, T. Godfroid, P. Boutsen, G. De Weireld, C. Otto, B. Nakaten, A. Śliwińska, L. Marsico, F. Manaigo, E. Schouterden, N. Heymans
  • Validation of refuse-derived fuel gasification for hydrogen-optimised synthesis gas production by numerical modelling
